We came for a winter ski trip with our two large dogs, and they were welcomed so warmly. The hotel even provided bowls, treats, and towels for cleaning their paws after walks. A lovely 5-6 km mountain hiking trail starts right there too, which was perfect for walking them. The skiing setup worked really well: a SkiBus stop is just outside and goes straight to the lifts, and one run comes right back to the hotel. There’s a handy ski room, and after a day on the slopes we enjoyed the sauna, which is free for guests. Our room was warm and comfortable. The breakfasts were filling, balanced, and delicious. The hosts make the place feel incredibly cozy and welcoming, and the views around Hotel Soliva are breathtaking. We left with such warm memories. An incredible stay, 10/10!

Affordable, with secure parking and an all-inclusive ticket. The location is beautiful, the rooms are very nice, and the people are lovely. There’s plenty to choose from at breakfast. Looking forward to my next visit, and there’s more besides.

We paid CHF 528 for two nights in a four-person family room with breakfast, as three of us were on a three-day ski break. The owner was lovely, and breakfast service was friendly. After skiing, the spa area was great for relaxing, with loungers, an infrared cabin, steam room, and sauna. There’s also a games room with ping-pong and foosball. We had no complaints at all and would happily come back for another short ski trip. Excellent value.

Daniela and Markus are wonderful, warm and welcoming, and make the place feel like a family home, which matters a lot to me. This is my second stay since the ownership changed, and I feel just as comfortable as I always did. I’ve been coming for years. The rooms are bright, spacious, and very clean, and breakfast is plentiful and excellent. The location works perfectly: the local bus stops right outside, and the water park is just 150 meters away. I’ll definitely return!
