The room had just the space we needed for two people and all our ski gear, and it was a great place to rest after a long day on the slopes. The owner was very friendly and showed us around, including the ski locker, boot drying area, breakfast area, and sauna. They also explained how skiing in and out from the apartment works. The location is great, beside the Duty Free ski run and L1 lift.

Mr. and Mrs. Fuchs made our holiday truly special, especially when our car broke down on the last day. Mr. Fuchs came to pick us up and helped get it running again, completely selflessly. We were welcomed warmly from the start and treated with such hospitality. We were travelling as a couple, and our double room had a TV, a private bathroom, and very comfortable beds. The guesthouse is a four-minute walk from the ski lift, and a free ski bus stops right outside every 15 minutes. There’s a separate ski room with a heated boot rack, and we could use the infrared and Finnish saunas from 3 pm. Everything was in excellent condition and very well cared for. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh eggs cooked to order and regional products, plus plenty of tea, juice, coffee, cappuccino, espresso, cold cuts, cheese, fruit, muesli, and yogurt. The ski slope is right by the house, with direct access to the valley station. If you come down the other slope to Almrausch and have a schnapps, they’ll drive you home. The place feels very family-run, and we’re comfortable here. Beds and blankets are good, breakfast is good, and there’s a sauna and infrared cabin too.

The gondola is only a few minutes away on foot, and the owners were friendly and accommodating. We had a great two-night stay, including a generous breakfast. I’d happily come back.
