Grischuna Mountain Lodge

The location is excellent, just a few steps from the town center and its many duty-free shops. You can ski almost to the lift, though there’s about 150 m left to walk. Our Muttler apartment had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, but they were separated from each other by a public corridor. The place is modern, lovely, and very clean, with perfect daily cleaning. Staff were kind and helpful, and breakfast was fresh with a good selection. The only issue for us was that the Wi-Fi in the room didn’t work.

Quiet but central, and a great base for a stay. The accommodation is beautiful and well looked after, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Silvia at reception and Lukas in housekeeping were especially nice. Highly recommended, we’ll be back!

The slopes are only a two-minute walk away, and everything was top notch. The accommodation is modern, with a sauna and steam bath in the house, or a slightly larger setup in the apartment across the street. The rooms and apartments feel luxurious and are absolutely top-notch, with friendly hosts and a good breakfast. Getting to and from the ski area is convenient too. One thing to know if you’re self-catering: Samnaun village no longer has a grocery store. There’s only the dairy farther down the mountain, so plan accordingly.
