I told the restaurant staff that my five-year-old son had a high fever and asked if they could prepare something from the menu to take away, so I could give him a meal. They said they don't do takeaway. I understand that, but being human doesn't require offering takeaway. Luckily, people at the restaurant across the street, Hotel Samnauerhof, had some emotional intelligence. I'd recommend spending your money somewhere run by people who can judge the situation and set priorities.

We had a really pleasant stay. The staff were warm and kind, and both breakfast and dinner were very good. The rooms feel modern and elegant while still having that Alp/Swiss charm.

What makes the service so good is how genuine it feels. A beautiful hotel, with a lovely restaurant too.
