The breakfast was included and had the usual choices, yogurt, fruit, bread, meats, and cheese. For dinner we tried the freshly made spaghetti with sausage meat sauce and a rösti. Both the food and prices were similar to other places we ate nearby. We came with a rental car and got parking, though the lot is small, perhaps space for around 10 cars. It wasn’t an issue during our visit, but I can imagine it might be in peak season. We booked at the last minute and this was as close as we could get to Zermatt. The staff were fantastic. When we arrived at 9pm, they even offered to make us dinner, though we said no and their kitchen had already closed. Our room had a lovely mountain view, and the windows and balcony door let in plenty of air. We slept comfortably. The shower was smaller than I’d have liked, though that seems common in Switzerland. The nightly price felt higher than I like to spend just for a place to sleep, but it was around the middle for Switzerland. I’d stay again and recommend it to others. We were there for two nights in mid-August.
