Hotel La Réserve

There were seven of us, all male loggers, having dinner. The place felt modern and elegant while still being discreet, and the food was excellent for a very moderate price. The service was really friendly too. Fantastic experience, highly recommend.

The restaurant was the best in town, so we ate there and had a delicious salmon pasta dish. Breakfast the next morning was excellent too, with proper coffee from a machine and plenty of food options. We were staying while hiking the Haute Route, and the room was lovely and spotlessly clean. The service was fantastic. Thank you!

After camping and staying in dorms on the Haute Route, having our own clean room, comfortable beds, and private bathroom felt like luxury. We were glad we splurged, even though the hotel was very expensive. We arrived at 1.30pm and were able to get into our room straight away, which was so welcome. Breakfast was good, though they could have put out more food. The poor woman serving, clearing, and making tea and coffee was run off her feet. It was an expensive stay, but one we really appreciated.

The restaurant was good, with great service and delicious pizzas. The gluten-free pizzas were fantastic too, made with real gluten-free dough and cooked in the same proper pizza oven, with extra heating to keep them gluten-free. That kind of craftsmanship is rare. Free parking, and a relaxed place where old and young are welcome. Recommended. I didn’t visit the hotel.
