The pool overlooking the mountains is wonderful, and the whole place has incredible energy. It’s a lovely family-run hotel, with the owners putting real passion into welcoming everyone into the spirit of this Unesco heritage listed valley. Thanks so much for the wonderful stay. We can’t wait to come back!

The food apart from the pizza was fine and tasted good, but the service was so poor I can’t give more than one star. We waited 50 minutes for the order, and some of it never arrived. The pizza was average to poor, especially for a restaurant calling itself a pizzeria just 8 km from Italy.

The breakfast was excellent and really complete, and the restaurant is small but cozy. The food and breakfast are handmade or local. After a day of trekking, it’s a relaxing family hotel with everything you need. There’s a sauna and dampfbad, and each floor has rooms decorated with historical things. Totally recommended.

Dinner was incredibly delicious, and the owners were friendly and so helpful. It’s a very traditional family-run hotel. We want to come back and would highly recommend it.
