Parking nearby is limited, though there are several rooms if you're travelling as a group. Breakfast had very good products, and the welcome was warm. It's reasonably priced and sits in a quiet spot above Savièse with a lovely view.

We were disappointed by the breakfast and the way we were treated. The online listing promised a deluxe buffet with regional products, but what arrived in our room was a croissant, a cheap fresh-baked roll, butter, a small carton of orange juice, fermented-tasting homemade jam and instant coffee. We booked through a Smartbox “Wellness Stay” package, but wellness it wasn't. There was one whirlpool, allowed for just 20 minutes. We used it before dinner and went back afterward, not knowing it was restricted to one use. The owner came over furious, insulted us, and called us ill-mannered and rude, as if we should have known. The place is in a beautiful, idyllic setting, but it's poorly appointed and hard to reach without a car. There were other things to complain about, too. I wouldn't recommend it.

The room has thin walls, and a strong musty smell comes from the bathroom. The place itself is charming, but our stay was very disappointing. We chose it because our Smartbox voucher said we could use the jacuzzi. When we arrived at 6 pm, we tried it for about 20 minutes, then went to eat. Nobody told us there was only one session allowed. We returned around 10 pm and got back in, without turning on the jets because we didn't want to make noise. Five minutes later, the owner was lecturing us. She said that, having seen us at 6 and 10, she assumed we'd been in there for four hours. I explained we'd only been back for five minutes, but she didn't believe us. She checked the water temperature, saw it hadn't cooled and accused us of changing the setting. Then she claimed the water's colour had changed, which was unfounded and insulting. She said it wasn't a swimming pool and we were only allowed one 20-minute session. When we said nobody had told us, she replied that “it's the same everywhere,” so we should have known. The welcome seemed pleasant at first, but the owner's lack of respect and professionalism over a simple misunderstanding was hard to accept.

For the price, it was pretty average. The room could use some refreshing, and breakfast could be more generous and prepared with a bit more care. I'd pick somewhere else if privacy matters to you.
