The children loved the place, and we had a wonderful weekend here. There were eight children and four adults on our little Dad-and-kids getaway, with plenty of room and storage for everyone. It’s a beautiful old carpentry workshop turned into a small bungalow. There’s a fireplace with lots of firewood, clean showers and toilet, and a well-equipped kitchen where you can cook or barbecue. The owner was so kind and welcoming, with little surprises for the children. We’re very grateful to Mrs. Furrer for the lovely weekend adventure, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

It’s quiet and idyllic here, and not very touristy apart from this house, since there are no chairlifts. The dairy is a lovely place and reasonably priced, with a kitchen, a large room with a big table and sofa, and a fireplace. The main drawback was sleeping. The windows are quite small, so the rooms get little sunlight, and the bedroom skylights can’t be covered properly. It was really hard to get a good night’s sleep.

The hosts are the real highlight, so warm and helpful. We’ve been coming back for several years and have always been delighted. The house is very clean and superbly equipped, and there are several ski and hiking areas nearby, about a 40-minute drive away.

Quiet hostel, tucked among the mountains, with a great view across the whole valley. The host was very accommodating. We stayed one night on a motorcycle road trip and would come back if we pass through again.

The house was a perfect base for our hikes in the surrounding mountains. It’s spacious and cozy, with a fireplace and a well-equipped kitchen, and the hosts were so warm and welcoming. The peaceful mountain setting also gives you lovely views of the Calanda massif.
