Hotel Restaurant Hirschen

I stayed here twice last fall and liked it straight away. The rooms are simple, but they’re tidy and really well looked after. Breakfast gave me a good start to the day, and the owners were so welcoming and clearly wanted guests to have a good stay. I’d be glad to come back.

There was fresh fruit at breakfast every day, which was fantastic, and the owners were so friendly and accommodating. We felt at ease here. The rooms are simply furnished, but clean and very well maintained. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend it without hesitation.

The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of variety, nicely presented, and cooked just right. They were also very accommodating about our car and let us leave it parked for free for four days.

We were a group of nine and stayed briefly at Klumpp's while exploring the Schaffhausen region by bike. The hosts gave us a friendly welcome, helped us choose routes, and even came along on some rides. There was a big room where we could store and charge our bikes, plus beautiful rooms and a good breakfast. Those few days were wonderful, thank you. I’d highly recommend this hotel for a cycling holiday. Gerold Dönni
