The plants on the first floor were such a lovely touch 🌿 We had a wonderful stay here while attending summer school. Our room was clean and nicely decorated, and the service was great the whole time. Lunch and dinner were very good, although sometimes we waited a little for more food to come out. The bar was excellent too, with great cocktails and beer. The mountain setting is beautiful and peaceful, with breathtaking views. A lovely place to unwind and enjoy the scenery.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the balcony had a great view. It’s peaceful and remote, with beautiful surroundings and plenty of free parking. But the room felt too basic for the price: no fridge, kettle, coffee machine, or AC. The bed was low, and the pillows were softer than I like, though I could manage. Breakfast was disappointing. There were no pastries apart from croissants, and even those weren’t always on the buffet, so we often had to ask. Checkout at 10AM feels too early. Despite the nice atmosphere, I probably wouldn’t come back.

My room was named after patron Thomas Edison, and every room has a different patron, which made the hotel’s interior really interesting. It’s close to Luzern, Zurich, and Engelberg, with wonderful nature and a quiet atmosphere. The view from my room was beautiful. This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been, and I’ll never forget staying here.

We could get here easily by public transportation. I spent two days and one night here for a workshop. The food was good quality, and the reception was very kind. Our rooms were clean, and the shared spaces and classrooms had a nice view. There’s a game room with billiards and table football, which we played and really enjoyed.

The food was good, and I had a great cocktail made by Serdal, the friendly barman. The staff were really nice and went out of their way to accommodate us. Our rooms were clean too.
