Chasa Sofia is a small, family run hotel in central Scuol, just a one minute walk from Bogn Engiadina, yet it’s still quiet and peaceful. The owners really look after each guest, and the breakfast buffet is fantastic, with local and homemade products. Our room had charming traditional woodwork and a modern bathroom that was impeccably clean. The hotel welcomes dogs and has indoor parking. We had a wonderful family Christmas stay and warmly recommend it to anyone visiting Scuol.

The location is central, right by the shopping street and old town, and the rooms are beautiful and spacious. We didn’t think much of breakfast, though: no croissants, very little meat, just five slices of ham and one slice of prosciutto, and no egg dishes. You have to ask again for coffee, and they don’t give you much. From a ground floor room, you’ll sometimes hear footsteps from guests upstairs, which is normal in a historic building.

The rooms are spacious and charming, and the house itself is beautiful and well situated. Breakfast had lots of variety, and our hosts were incredibly attentive. We had no complaints at all and would gladly come back. Highly recommend!

They made me a lunchbox the night before because I had to leave early, and they also let me keep my e-bike in the garage. The room was cozy and the bed super comfortable.
