The staff were friendly, and breakfast had plenty to choose from. There’s also street access at the back to a bicycle storage room. The hotel is an old classic ski place in central Schouls, with dated interiors. Toilets, baths, and showers are shared by all guests on each of the four floors, and the elevator was often out of order.

I keep coming back each year and have done for six years. It’s a simple, clean, tidy hotel with exactly what I need: a bed and an ensuite bathroom. The staff are always lovely and helpful, especially Carlos, who seems to do everything apart from the cleaning. If you’re visiting in September, book early, since big events in Scuol can leave them full on some nights. I’d definitely recommend it! KS from Willisau 🥰🦋🌈🍁

Breakfast was exceptional, and Carlos gave wonderful service. Our room had an ensuite bathroom and we liked it, but it wasn’t cleaned during our three-night stay. The place seems to have been an important, cozy spot in the past. Now it felt a little abandoned, with hardly any guests or staff around.

It was the cheapest deal in scuol. The rooms were clean, though the old house has dated decor and the toilets and showers are about 10 meters from the rooms.

Lovely people and a great location, right opposite the swimming pool. I love this old, cosy hotel.
