b_smart motel Sevelen

Cross the bridge and you’re in Liechtenstein, and the hotel’s a great base for getting around. There’s a walk of about an hour from the hotel for anyone who wants to do show, with signs pointing the way. Check-in was completely trouble-free. Our room was clean, comfortable, and a good size, with a good shower. Parking is free, and there’s free coffee and tea throughout the stay. Breakfast isn’t extensive, but it has what you need.

The breakfast was really nice, and I loved the general feel of the motel. It’s modern, clean, conveniently right by the local train station, and a very good place to sleep for the price. The room was fairly quiet, though road traffic could still be heard late in the evening. One thing felt really odd, though: why is there a big see-through glass door between the beds and the bathroom?

The hotel itself is clean and new, but the included breakfast is basically coffee, juice, and cereal. The self check-in was a terrible experience. We were exhausted after travelling from Italy, and ended up stuck outside in the cold rain for exactly 1.5 hours while we tried to sort out the faulty registration and door card activation with dispatch over the communicator. The cleaner eventually came out of her house and let us into our rooms. They could have called her sooner. This was affecting other guests too, though those people arrived once help was already there. I think B smart should offer some compensation.

The computer check-in worked fine, and we had a good stay. Our room was fairly large, modern, and very clean. There’s complimentary coffee and tea, and while breakfast is simple, the croissants were fresh.
