Ibis Styles Sierre

We had a delicious, surprising fondue des druides at the restaurant, one not to miss. The room felt cozy and had everything we needed. We were warmly welcomed, and the attentive staff showed us to it. We'll return and strongly recommend this very friendly hotel and its staff.

Our room was a decent size and had a big balcony, with a mountain view but not much of the vineyards. It was room 802, up in the attic, and there was no lift to that floor. With big luggage or difficulty climbing stairs, it isn't a good room to get. There are EV chargers, which was the only reason the stay was just okay. We spent four nights at ibis Styles Sierre and regret choosing it. The car park access into the hotel wasn't working for our whole stay, although we could get from the hotel to the car park. We paid 10CHF per night and received no apology for the hassle. Every time we came back, we had to walk out of the car park and go around to enter the hotel, which made the stay unpleasant. The short blonde hair lady at check-in wasn't friendly. She also checked us out, and her attitude felt snobbish and not customer oriented. She shouldn't be serving guests at the welcome desk.

The room was really small and very basic. There was no iron in it, though I assume there may be a separate room or service for ironing. The shower had an all-in-one shampoo, with no conditioner or body lotion, so bring your own things. On the plus side, the staff were friendly, check-in was easy, the sheets were clean, and the price was okay. Fruit and coffee were available for free around the clock.

At À table, the rest of the team treated customers respectfully and made sure everyone had a good experience. The chef also took time to explain the regular menu and the dishes he had created as specials. The fresh ingredients were very good. I had the Pluma ibérica, cooked to a perfect rare point and seasoned well with natural herbs. He also suggested the Tartine with artichokes, aubergine, and cheese. The restaurant is excellent.
