A bus pass for the whole stay is included, which is very practical since the bus station is right next door. There’s also a ski room, and the hotel is linked to its sister property Edelweiss by a coveted tunnel. I’ve traveled extensively for 40 years and eaten everywhere from mom-and-pop places to Michelin three-star restaurants. This is my honest review of the hotel only. The room, bed, amenities, and gym at Post Sils-Maria are good value for money, and it works well for either a short or long stay.

The bathroom had fungus, and there was only one lamp to light the room. There was a desk, but no electrical connection. I waited 45 minutes for breakfast because the waitress didn’t speak English and was waiting for someone to come translate. A disaster!

We had a great fondue and the wine service was lovely. The staff were excellent and really friendly, and the Fonduestübli has a cozy feel.
