The balcony view of the lake and mountains was the standout for me. The restaurant was also very good, with high quality food and great service. I stayed three nights. The rooms feel a little dated, but they have the basics covered.

The restaurant was the best part of my short-notice, one-night stay. I tried the seasonal menu, and the food was well prepared with plenty of choice; service was excellent and the staff really friendly. The room was simple and clean, though showing its age. We slept well despite trains passing on the tracks between us and the beautiful lake view. It’s also a great base for hikes.

Beds were comfortable, and the rooms were clean, though a bit old. The price felt fair. There’s a nice pizzeria about three minutes away, and the location is handy, right by the lake and close to the highway.

We stopped for lunch during a motorcycle tour, and the food was utterly delicious. My partner had the game, while I chose a vegetarian plate with an autumn theme. Everything was beautifully prepared from high quality ingredients, and the service was good. It isn’t cheap, but the prices feel fair for what you get. Definitely recommended, especially the home-made Spätzli.

The wine list was well put together and the price more than fair. The food was really very good, served with creativity and charm. A real surprise of the year for me. I’d give it six stars if I could. Bravo! Gladly again.
