The bistro has a great view and friendly service, and the cinema seats are comfortable with excellent sound. It’s also conveniently located around the corner from Spiez train station.

The balcony looking out over Lake Thun was lovely, and I felt safe and comfortable in a clean room. The train station is about a minute away on foot, with Interlaken and several other towns easy to reach in different directions. I really enjoyed staying here and would recommend it.

We had a lovely breakfast on the patio with a view over the lake. The hotel is family run and has a bistro, with a cinema and free parking connected to it. The railway station is only a two minute walk away, and the ferry port is a short drive. Thun and Interlaken are easy to get to.

The family running this small hotel made it feel like home, with the kind of personal attention you really appreciate. I was in town for the Jungfrau marathon, and a mix-up meant the Interlaken hotel I had booked was full when I arrived. After a frantic search, I found a room at Movieworld, thankfully. It’s in a great spot, and I’d explore the town before heading to Interlaken or Jungfrau. Lovely people, and stunning views from comfortable rooms. Heaven!

The bar and breakfast room have a lovely view both indoors and outside. This place is cosy and charming, and the people are so kind. It’s close to Spiez’s main station.
