We loved the peaceful feel of Spiez and the lovely lakeside terrace at Hotel Restaurant Seegarten Marina. The restaurant serves delicious food, with plenty of local dishes, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and well kept. Staff were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The hotel sits right by Lake Thun, with beautiful water and mountain views. If you can, book a lake-view room, it’s truly worth it. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back. Everything we ordered was fresh and full of flavour. Friendly, attentive staff and excellent service made it a great meal. I’d definitely recommend it.

The view at the hotel is stunning, which is why we stopped in for a drink, but we didn’t enjoy the visit. When we asked for the menu, they sent us somewhere else with little explanation, so we already felt unwelcome. Then the person who eventually came to serve us acted like he didn’t want to help at all. The service was very rude.

The staff were so helpful, and the location is great. We spent a weekend there and loved the whole experience. We definitely want to come back.

We enjoyed the fresh, nicely presented food and friendly, attentive service while sitting by the marina. It’s a lovely, peaceful spot with pretty Lake Thun views and a charming atmosphere. A nice place to relax over a meal or drink when visiting Spiez.
