The room was new, clean, and had AC, and the balcony view was truly beautiful. The woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. For what it costs, this is excellent value. I can’t say why others have left negative reviews, but I’d definitely come back just to stay here again.

Sitting out on the balcony, you get an impressive view. The hotel itself is beautiful, the service was excellent, and the lake cruises are easy to get to. I’d love to come back.

The lakefront setting and its view were worth a star, as was the free parking. The room cost us more than $300 and badly needs renovating and cleaning. Breakfast cost extra and wasn’t worth $22 per person for just one kind of bread. When we tried to check in at 7 pm, reception was already closed. I wouldn’t recommend it.

We spent three nights here and had a very pleasant stay. The rooms were amazing, with spectacular views, and the location right by the lake is great. I’d definitely recommend it.

At $260 a night, the amenities and decor didn’t feel worth the price. The place reminded me of a guest house from 30 years ago, and our room was dirty with poor facilities. There was no kettle, and when we asked downstairs for hot water, they charged us 12 Swiss francs for two tiny pots from the coffee machine. I’ve attached a picture so you can see how ridiculous it felt to be charged for everything during the stay.
