Club Med Saint Moritz Roi Soleil

A good choice for a family ski trip with kids. The facilities are a little dated, but they’re still kept up well. We enjoyed our stay.

Diego and Matheo made the ski service in the Club Med basement such a good experience. They were friendly, professional, and helpful, and adjusted my skis carefully until they felt right. I felt confident heading to the slopes. Highly recommended.

The ski school manager’s response to my request was the low point of the week. I asked him directly about a skating-style cross-country skiing lesson, and he wouldn’t even consider it. His attitude didn’t feel customer-oriented; he said “no one is interested,” which isn’t surprising if every request is dismissed without discussion. Other guests and I felt a group of at least six to eight could easily have been put together. The refusal came across as a cost-cutting decision and left a negative impression. The dining room also gets quite crowded because it feels too small, and I didn’t find the sauna relaxing since it’s too small as well. Still, it was a good-value ski week overall, with very friendly staff. We hope to see Constance again on our next stay in Punta Cana.

For the whole week in the middle of winter, I was shivering in a room that never got properly warm. My parents and I spent 5 hours pushing management to get their super to look at the heating. After all that, they brought in a tiny radiator instead of fixing the heater, and the room only reached 19C. The bathroom soap was watered down, which was pretty crazy. Come for the skiing, but don’t expect good rooms.
