The staff were great, and breakfast was a simple buffet served in a cozy dining room with windows. The rooms have a comfortable lodge-style look, with lovely views over the lake. You can see it's been carefully remodeled over the years rather than built as a new hotel.

The reception staff were very polite and helpful, and the hotel is close to the train station. My room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable, with a sit-out area overlooking the lake and glaciers. I'd suggest spending some quality time here before boarding the scenic Bernina Express to Tirano.

The front desk warned us ahead of time about the steep uphill walk from the train station. My wife and I had a brilliant stay at Hotel Chesa Languard, and our room's huge windows looked out over the lake and mountains. The view was incredible.

The room was roomy and well furnished, with a comfortable bed and a great shower. Everyone we met on staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a fabulous range of choices for different tastes, and the hotel is near shops and cafes, with the train station not too far away.

Be sure to order breakfast, it's wonderful and comes with incredible views. The hotel has a cozy feel, a great location, and views of the mountains.
