The staff were really nice and helpful, and I enjoyed the lake views from the outdoor deck. This is a very nice old hotel. The rooms still have keys, which is cool, and there are two comforters on the beds, so no fighting over covers. One small annoyance: the automatic light in the room’s doorways can’t be turned off.

My room had a great view of both the mountains and the lake, and the rooms are spacious and beautiful. I had a wonderful time at Soldanella Hotel. The service was great, from reception to the restaurant staff and everyone else. I hope I get to enjoy those things again.

The staff made us feel so welcome, and breakfast had loads of fresh, tasty choices. Our room at Hotel Soldanella was spacious and nicely furnished, with a comfortable bed and a cozy but modern feel. The lake and mountain views were unforgettable. It was a lovely mix of comfort and elegance, and I’d happily recommend it.

The view was kinda cool, but I left really disappointed. The rooms look vintage and stylish, yet they’re inconvenient, and the facilities feel far too outdated. WiFi was slow and unreliable, and the mobile signal was so bad I couldn’t count on that either. With rooms this expensive, it’s ridiculous. I’d been looking forward to the stay, but the hotel let me down badly. One star. I’m a very disappointed man.

Room 25 had a fresh, roomy bathroom with a generous spa shower setup, and the bed was comfy. I loved the burger from the bar, served with a pile of fries. You could really taste the meat. The hotel has lovely views, good food, and a charm that made for a thoroughly enjoyable visit. It’s an easy walk from the station, though I believe you can book a hotel transfer for a small fee. We got one of the warmest welcomes you’ll probably find in Switzerland. Thanks heaps for a wonderful stay!
