The staff were lovely and always ready to help, and I really enjoyed staying here. Dinner was tasty home cooking; breakfast was simple but did the job. The station is under a 10-minute walk away, in a pretty spot by the cow pastures, and it’s only a few stops from Bern.

I wouldn't choose this place again. The prices felt way out of line with the poor quality, and the salads weren't fresh. The menu was mostly industrial food, with little sign of local dishes made and served with care. It was noisy by the terrace too, and the busy main road made the place noisy inside as well.

The countryside around the hotel was beautiful, and Bern was still a short trip away. But the room felt overpriced for its standard. It had no air conditioning, and traffic from the street outside made it hard to sleep with the windows open.

The hall was spacious, and the food was decent. I didn't stay overnight, so I can't comment on the rooms. For holding a meeting, it was a good place.

My partner couldn't travel because of a COVID scare, so we tried to cancel the day before. They told us we could change the dates and use the booking as a voucher, but ignored our calls every time we tried to reach them. They wouldn't waive the full payment and charged the amount to my credit card the day before we were due to arrive. Really awful customer service, and we lost 113 euro.
