Our room was clean and spacious, and we enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The email had sent us to the other hotel for breakfast, though it was actually served where we were staying. We also had trouble with parking after losing our ticket. At first, the reception staff didn't seem very friendly or understanding, but they helped once we started sorting it out, and the issue was resolved in the end. Getting into the SPA on our first day was another problem. Our key card didn't work, no quick fix was offered, and there was nobody at reception to assist. In fact, we didn't see any staff at the front desk during our whole 24-hour stay. At around 150€ per night, this was much more expensive than other places we stayed in the Swiss Alps on the same trip, so the hassles were especially disappointing. It wasn't the relaxing, easy stay we wanted, and based on our experience I wouldn't fully recommend the hotel.

We had breakfast and dinner in our room, which had a balcony and mountain views. It was clean, and check-in was self-service. The hotel is right next to the Täsch station, with a Coop supermarket and tourist center beside it. Trains between Tasch and Zermatt come about every 15 minutes. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting the Zermatt area.

Gabbie was a fantastic host and went well beyond what you'd expect to make our stay easy and lovely. Our room was clean and efficiently arranged in traditional Swiss style, with a window looking out at Staubbach Falls. Staying in an authentic Swiss chalet in the beautiful Lauterbrunnen valley left us with priceless memories. Highly recommend!

The breakfast was fresh and delicious each morning, and the whole hotel had a welcoming feel. The staff were friendly, down-to-earth, and genuinely caring. They also went out of their way to arrange a birthday surprise for my wife, decorating our room with flowers and balloons. We're very grateful for their kindness and effort. Matterhorn Inn made both our stay and the occasion memorable, and we'd happily return.

The shower was amazing, and the rooms were so clean and comfortable. A beautiful little Inn and a great spot for a few days away. If you're taking the glacier express from zermatt, the location works really well. The staff were warm and friendly. I'd love to come back someday.
