The daily specials fit the seasonal menu nicely. We had a great meal at Auberge Au Lion d"Or restaurant, with top-quality ingredients, lovely flavour, authentic preparation and just the right texture. The service was great too.

My confit duck was exactly what I’d hoped for. We were treated so well, and the food was delicious. There were some really interesting fusion dishes alongside the more traditional plates.

Jun 23: We sat on the terrace and had a really good meal. The Daurade (sea bream) special was excellent, slow-cooked and served with aubergine and rice. That combination worked nicely. There was wine by the glass to choose from, though I think the selection changes day to day. Service was good. Apr 22: A relaxing spot for lunch, with good service. We had the daily lunch menu, which was excellent and reasonably priced.

We didn’t eat here, though it was busy both evenings, and the dining room was laid out beautifully. We had a couple of drinks instead. On our first trip to Switzerland we booked a room here almost by chance, and liked it so much we returned for another night. The Auberge was beautiful, the staff were so kind, and our room was spotless with lovely decor. It was very well priced, too. The plaza out front was really cute, and the nearby bakery was delicious and full of locals. We also got lucky and caught a free Jazz concert at a local’s mansion down the road. Definitely recommend Auberge Au Lion d’Or to everyone 🥰
