The location works really well whether you arrive by car or public transport, with Station Ponte Brolla nearby. I come back every year because I love this place. The risotto has been delicious for years, and the food and service are great. The accommodation is nice too, and breakfast is great. I could stay here forever.

It's easy to get here by public transit, and the rooms are comfortable. The restaurant serves lots of homemade products, including the best Ticinese-style risotto, made with red wine and gorgonzola. The staff are friendly and speak Italian, German, French, and English fluently.

I haven't stayed in the rooms, so I can only speak to the restaurant. It has the feel of a great place: a thoughtfully decorated dining room, attentive but discreet service, and a small menu built around high-quality local ingredients. We'll be back.

That risotto will be hard to beat.
