Hotel Al Fiume

The host is what makes Al Fiume so charming. She clearly loves her work and puts care into even the little details, making you feel wonderfully looked after. The hotel also has a beautifully kept private garden, and a perfect sandy beach is just five minutes away. For a three-star hotel, I’ve never had a stay that gave me more. It’s a real gem.

The riverside beach and waterfall are only a two-minute walk away, and there’s free parking right outside the hotel. It’s a lovely little place with a beautiful garden, run by two very friendly hostesses who make the service feel warm and personal.

The owners were so welcoming and checked in with us a few times to see if we needed anything. They were completely fine with our dog coming along. Breakfast was generous and clearly prepared with care, and we could enjoy it on the private terrace outside our room. The room itself was a little dark, but it was clean and had everything we needed. Thanks so much!

The older style of the very clean rooms gives the house its warm, homey feel, and our dog settled in happily too. We’ve stayed here twice now, and both visits were wonderful. The hostess and her daughter are so attentive and welcoming that you feel at home straight away. Breakfast is generous and lovingly made, with the option to sit outside when the weather is nice. The location is right by the water, with a small beach and lovely walking and hiking routes just outside. Everyone really is welcome here. We’ll be back. Stay just as you are, simply wonderful! Warm regards, the Tizmonar family :)
