Loved every bit of it.

The room was clean, practical, and fine, which is why I’m giving two stars. The rest didn’t feel worth the price to us. Breakfast was all old or packaged food, with nothing fresh, and the hostess spoke very little German and was quite curt. The hallway also smelled pretty unpleasant. We can’t recommend it.

We slept well and it was quiet, though the night felt chilly with just a basic sheet and a plush blanket on the bed. The room was furnished in a pretty dated way, and there was a slightly odd smell in the hallway. Breakfast was good and had a nice range of choices. It had what you need for a night on the road, but some TV channels listed weren’t actually available.

The kitchen and fridge for guests were really handy, and the owners made us feel at home with their warm, courteous welcome. It’s a lovely B&B in a great spot for exploring German-speaking Switzerland. Highly recommended.

The garden is big and well cared for, the Wi-Fi is excellent, and guests can use the kitchen. We got a very friendly welcome, and breakfast included homemade things. It’s a handy base for visiting lots of interesting places. The owners won’t let you down, and the price is a pleasant surprise by local standards. Highly recommended.
