We’ll definitely stay at Hotel Residence Loren again. They were so accommodating, letting us check in early and leave late, and everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. The food was fantastic, especially the pizza. We missed breakfast cutoff twice, but they reopened the kitchen for us, which we really appreciated. Our room was cleaned spotless every day. A large tour group made things briefly noisy, but shutting the balcony door made it completely quiet. The location is central, about a 15-minute walk from the train station, and easy to reach from Zurich Airport. We’d happily recommend it. Such a hidden gem!

The only real drawback for me was the location, since restaurants and grocery shops were pretty far away. Still, I absolutely loved my stay. Our double room was enormous, with a long bed and a sofa bed, and both the room and bed were extremely comfortable. There was even a washing machine right in the room. The restaurant was delicious too.

Hotel Loren always feels like home to me. We’ve been coming to Switzerland for three years and choose it every time. The owner is such a wonderful woman, and when we brought our baby she was quick to help whenever we needed anything. She replies to messages fast and always welcomes us warmly. The room, kitchen and bathroom are very clean. There’s parking, and the courtyard is quiet and dreamy. We love this place and its staff ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

I was in Uster for work and only stayed briefly, but had a lovely experience. The place is quiet and the rooms are clean. The owner is very kind and friendly, as are the rest of the staff. I’d strongly recommend Hotel Residence Loren to anyone coming to Uster for work or a vacation.

The room was bare, and there was a lot of noise from a nearby train. But the worst part was the customer service. The hotel double-booked a room for me, then insisted it was my mistake, which it definitely wasn’t. The woman at the front desk said it would be fine and charged me for one room, then later emailed to demand payment for both. A really awful experience, and I wouldn’t want to return soon. In its reply, the hotel still couldn’t admit it was wrong and instead berated guests. I’d strongly recommend avoiding this business. I hope they improve, but right now they don’t deserve people’s business.
