The sunny balcony and the very clean shared bathroom, with its hot shower, made the room a nice place to stay. It was good value, too. When I mentioned my blisters, the kind host treated me like family and suggested a home remedy that worked wonders. What more could I want?

The location near the train and cable car is good, but the rooms are in a cold basement annexe, and the electric heaters barely work. We also had to share one bathroom with the other guests. Breakfast was just burnt toast, jam, and a tea bag in a mug, not a proper breakfast. The lady charges too much for what’s offered.

The homemade bread, jam, and juice were lovely, and we even got fresh tomatoes from their garden. The washroom is shared, but we had a good stay.

The host was warm and welcoming, and the room and toilet were clean and nice. For Switzerland, the price is reasonable. I had a very comfortable stay.

Le Chable lift and train are close by, which worked well for my one-night stay. The bed squeaked a bit, and breakfast could be better.
