The fresh food stations were the best part of brunch at Le Chalet d’Adrien. The meat selection and made-to-order pasta were fresh, excellent, and thoughtfully put together. On the terrace, the views are stunning, and the service is warm, attentive, and professional. The other buffet dishes were fairly average and didn't quite live up to the live stations. Still, it's a pleasant brunch for the views, atmosphere, and freshly prepared options, though the supporting dishes could be better.

I was very disappointed. Staff seemed unfriendly and uncaring, and they ignored basic requests. I specifically asked for my car to be prepared, but it wasn't ready on time. For a place that presents itself as high-end, the attention and professionalism were seriously lacking.

The view is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, and the valet service was great. Staff throughout the hotel were polite, and the service itself was very nice. But there were several room maintenance issues. The coffee machine's water tank was so slimy that I complained twice, and nothing was done. The bathroom sink smelled as if it hadn't been cleaned, some lights flickered, and the lights turning on automatically as we moved around was irritating. There also wasn't easy access to power outlets for charging phones or laptops. Dinner at La Table Adrien, the one-Michelin-star restaurant, was a total joke of flavours, and we left without finishing. I'm sorry to say I won't return to this hotel at these prices for this experience. Management needs to act.

The shuttle drivers were an unexpected bright spot, polite and efficient. The location is good, and the rooms are large, though dated. The pool is very small, with room for only 7-8 lounge chairs. For a “5-star” hotel, the experience was extremely underwhelming. The staff smile and seem polite, but they're incompetent at many basic tasks. The hotel offered to arrange private ski lessons. After the first session, we said the instructor wasn't a good teacher and asked for a replacement. The hotel didn't flag any issue or give us an update from the school. The next morning, we expected a new instructor, but the concierge and reception had to look up the name. It turned out to be the same instructor. The hotel had known the night before and agreed with the school to keep them, but gave us no solution and planned to charge for a full day even though we didn't want to ski with them. We had to contact the school ourselves to sort it out, and lost a whole morning of skiing. The hotel doesn't seem to have a healthy partnership with the school or care for its clients. Clients should book directly with the schools. The hotel should take full responsibility for services it offers, be clear that clients need to work things out with the provider, or stop offering the service. We also asked staff to reserve a table at a local pizza restaurant and were told there was no availability. By then I'd lost trust, so I booked directly with the restaurant and got a reservation for that same night without any trouble. Maybe the staff didn't try, or maybe they didn't care.

The staff were friendly, and the service was pretty good, though they made several mistakes. They got all our drinks wrong and didn't know what a dirty martini was. We were dining with family and weren't staying at the hotel, since we already had somewhere else to stay. This was my first Michelin-starred restaurant, and honestly I expected it to be better overall. It was a little overpriced for what we got, though that's to be expected in Verbier. Beware the stinky cheese fondue!! The stem on the wine glass was the skinniest I've ever seen!!
