We ate dinner at Chamois on our first night and would highly recommend it. The rack of lamb and beef were extraordinary. Breakfast was more basic, but did the job before skiing. The updated rooms have a pleasant feel, comfortable beds, good showers, and lots of space for two in a double superior room. It’s a traditional Swiss hotel with friendly staff and the basics well covered. I’d stay again.

For a work ski trip, the location was a big plus: it’s convenient for getting to the slopes. Staff were generally polite and helpful. The room was basic and a little dated, though fine for a short stay. Breakfast was okay and got me ready to ski, but wasn’t anything special. Decent enough for skiing, as long as you’re not expecting luxury.

The rooms are very spacious, and the main gondolas are close enough to walk to. Every member of staff gave amazing service at any time of day. We’d planned to book a hotel with more stars, but I’m glad we didn’t, because this one deserves more. Highly recommended, and thank you for such a great stay.

The service was good, and I liked the soup. I was there for the restaurant, though I found it a little too noisy. That wasn’t the establishment’s fault, obviously.

My room was huge for the Alps, about 25 square metres, with a lovely large balcony and a mountain view. The hotel is right in the center of town, just a few hundred metres from the Medran ski lifts. For the money, it was great value: similar places cost about 30% more and were farther from the lifts. Breakfast suited me well, with breads, croissants, nuts, muesli, fruit, eggs, juice and cheese. Healthy and filling before a day on the slopes.
