The food was beautiful, the people were great and the rooms were pretty good too. But I only slept two hours because the hotel is on what feels like the loudest road in Switzerland. It was also really hot, and with no air conditioning I had to keep the windows open, which made the noise even worse. I imagine it would be a phenomenal stay in winter.

For a ski trip, this was a good, cost-effective alternative to staying in Verbier. It's right by the train station and the gondola up to Verbier, and the staff were helpful and accommodating. We had dinner at the restaurant and really enjoyed it. The hotel feels old-fashioned, but it met our needs. I'd recommend it!

I've been here twice now. The first visit was good, and this one was okay; the food was decent both times. This time, though, our main issue was the service. Our server wasn't very friendly and seemed annoyed that we didn't speak French. We'd felt warmly welcomed at most places in town, but here we felt like a nuisance who shouldn't be there. If you don't speak French, try Le Koti upstairs. They were much nicer.

We're staying here while doing the Haute Route, and the restaurant has easily served the best half-board meal we've had along the way. It's excellent. Highly recommend it.
