We lost a key, and the manager was very nice about it. The hotel itself is lovely, and the sauna facilities are a nice extra.

The family were so warm and welcoming, and they helped us plan our tours. They were especially lovely with our little daughter. Our room was clean and well furnished, and newly renovated. The spa has also been renovated, with a hammam, finish Sauna and outdoor hot tub. It was so good after a day in the mountains. The restaurant serves very good local food, and half-board is an option to ask about. We’ll definitely return.

It was easy to get to this charming property on the public bus, and the mountain town itself was cosy. We ate at the restaurant both nights, and the food was wonderful. The spa’s outdoor hot tub had lovely mountain views. If you get the chance, you should stay here.

The hosts were so welcoming and made us feel cosy after a full day of skiing. We had a relaxing visit to the spa, then a good dinner in the charming atmosphere. We’ll be back.

The food at Hôtel la Vallée is absolutely delicious, and Jean-Marc is a wonderfully helpful owner who runs a great place. I especially love the cheese from Lourtier- Bagnes 31, which is the best. Raclette du Valais is famous across Switzerland for its smooth, fatty texture. Hôtel la Vallée is my go-to whenever I visit Switzerland. @hotellavallee
