Tgantieni Sot - Apartment mit Herz

Fantastic place.

We felt comfortable from the moment we arrived, thanks to the very warm welcome, and we’d definitely recommend Tgantieni Sot. Our group was four adults and four children, sharing an eight-bed dorm for one night with friends. The accommodation was lovely and well maintained, and the room, toilets, and showers were all very clean. It’s about a five-minute walk to the slopes, though with more snow you can probably ski right to them. We had raclette there in the evening with plenty of delicious sides. We’d ordered spaghetti Bolognese in advance, and they made it especially for the children.

This house is run by a husband and wife. When I arrived, they were still cleaning, and once they’d finished, they helped me out. They were very friendly and welcoming. As the afternoon got busier, they cooked and served food for the guests and made sure nobody was short of anything, including at breakfast. In most places the house was really well kept, especially the very clean showers and toilets, mirrors, door handles, doors, floors, and cupboards. There were a few bits of dust and cobwebs in corners here and there. The property sits nicely out in the mountains, so you can head off exploring. The parking area below was a bit of a letdown: the snow was melting and left a muddy puddle to walk or drive through. Luckily, I got a spot on the asphalt. A few guests went outside for a chat in the evening, quite loudly, only two or three meters from my room. Thankfully, it didn’t last long. This is the first place I’ve given five stars!
