It’s about 15 minutes from Sion for dining, shopping, and the golf course. The view is great, and it’s quite a walk to old Veysonnaz, while the ski station is only a short drive away and connects to Nendaz and Verbier. If you rent here, keep in mind that some chalets have been renovated more than others.

Chalet #3 was spacious and comfortable, with a big living room, very nice beds, and a beautiful view. The kitchen, though, needs attention: the fridge doesn’t cool, the kettle is broken, the oven is as noisy as a 747, and there’s no light above the cooktop.

The chalet looks beautiful, but two of the rooms are very small, and one has no electricity. There’s also a problem with a leaking kitchen sink.

It’s a very quiet place and a great base for hikes. The location is fantastic, with a beautiful view of the valley, river, vineyards across the way, and the mountain peaks.
