Agoda showed me as the one who canceled, and I was charged a penalty, even though the property owner had canceled my booking the day before my stay. I was given no explanation or apology. It caused major problems on my trip to Switzerland. Be careful booking this place. I would give it zero stars if that were possible.

What made my stay at Castle View in Veytaux was the peaceful, spotless, well-kept place and the wonderful service. The hosts were warm and professional throughout, and it was clear they put a lot of care into making the visit special. The view across Lake Geneva to Chillon Castle is breathtaking. For a charming place with such a lovely panorama, the value is incredible. I’d absolutely recommend it for a quiet, romantic, or simply different getaway in Veytaux. Thanks to the whole Castle View team. I’ll definitely be back.

Good value for the price, and the view of Château Chillon is hard to beat. You do have to accept the street, though. It’s a young hotelier still building things up, so there are some improvements to make, but what’s on offer is good overall.
