Visperterminen is very quiet in summer, and we had a great summer stay at the Hotel Rothorn. The proprietors stayed on top of everything and met all our expectations. I saw some of the earlier bad reviews, but I think those problems have been solved.

The owners make you feel like part of their family, and the staff are so nice and kind, really responsive to what guests need. The food is varied, portions are big, and everything is delicious. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

It was out of the way and not crowded at all. THE STAFF were just wonderful and exceptional. We only had internet for half the time, so keep that in mind if it's important to you. I'd definitely stay again.

I went looking for coffee because the lift wasn't working. I paid 10 francs into the establishment owner's account for a coffee that was meant to cost 4 francs, and wanted to leave a tip, but he never gave me any change. He just walked off, and I was left alone in the hall for over 15 minutes. Also, instead of an Americano with milk, I got a cappuccino for 10 francs. Robbery. I don't recommend it.
