We called in for family lunch during a bike ride. The food was fresh and lovely, and everyone was so welcoming and accommodating, especially with our little kids.

The restaurant, as of December 2020, was open only to hotel guests, and we found both breakfast and dinner pretty good. The rooms are quiet, clean and nicely designed. There are lots of hiking routes starting right at the hotel in summer and winter, plus a chairlift next door for skiing and snowboarding on family-friendly slopes, and for sledging too. A place I’d happily return to again and again.

I ended up at this cozy hotel by chance after my bicycle broke nearby around nightfall. The staff were incredibly welcoming and spontaneously offered help, which I hadn’t expected from a hotel. The food was excellent, with local specialties and healthy local products. They really go the extra mile. I warmly recommend them.

A peaceful spot for lunch or brunch, where you can sit and enjoy your food. There are plenty of vegetarian and even vegan choices. The homemade iced tea is a good pick, and the cakes and pies are hard to pass up, especially the apple vanilla crumble pie. The people serving you are lovely too. We’re curious to see what it’s like here in winter. See you next time!
