I paid 570 CHF for six days, though I stayed only four, plus 250 CHF for final cleaning. That's outrageous, especially since I left the room as I found it. At 820 CHF for six days, the price is absurd. You have to pass through their living room to get to the toilet or shower, so there's no privacy. The house smells like cat, and they have a cat there. The rooms look nice, but appearances are deceiving. It feels more like a shared apartment without cooking facilities than a guesthouse. There are plenty of other rooms in Weinfelden.

They cancelled the studio they'd promised me for a long weekend in early summer, without warning, saying they'd switched to long-term rentals. When I called to ask about it, there wasn't even an apology or an offer of somewhere else. That says a lot about how they do business. Beware!

The studio is great, with a quiet refrigerator, microwave, kettle, and coffee maker. The guesthouse is in a quiet area a little outside town, and it's family-friendly with lovely, comfortable furnishings. What more could you want?

Susanne is really friendly and helpful. The rooms are bright and very nice, and I felt comfortable here. :)
