Apartments Zermatt Paradies

The manager was on site most of the day and readily helped with our questions and needs, which made the hospitality excellent. The apartment is only a few tens of meters from the Matterhorn express lift, and about a five-minute walk from the north end of the main strip. After skiing, we especially appreciated the steam sauna. There are laundry facilities on site, and the porch looks out across town. Inside, it was large, comfortable, clean, and well appointed, with a comfortable bed and a kitchen stocked for cooking a good meal. An excellent base for skiing and visiting Zermatt. I can be hesitant about apartment stays because check-in and help can be tricky, but that wasn't a problem here.

The room felt a little empty and awkward at first, but we settled in quickly once we put down the beds and took in the view. The Matterhorn looked stunning from the room, and the building has a very cool sci-fi tunnel entrance. The location was fantastic, less than a five-minute walk to the main gondola. The train station isn't too far, though with luggage, an e-taxi is recommended. Friendly, helpful front desk staff, plus great amenities: a massive ski locker cave with heated boot wall and a spa with limited hours. We made full use of the kitchen to balance our eating out budget. We'd absolutely stay here again! 🫕

Johan was kind and helpful during our stay, and we'd definitely come back to Paradies if we return to Zermatt. It was a great stay. The place is clean, well equipped, and has a secured ski room with boot heaters. We don't usually leave our equipment in a common area, but we did this time. After skiing, you can use the sauna or steam room. It's a great tucked-away place for a short or long stay, a short walk to the Furi gondola. Getting to the train station is an easy 15-20 minute walk or five minutes by taxi.

The walk to the Matterhorn Express gondola was very quick, and coming back after a day of riding was just as easy. My friends and I had an outstanding week snowboarding at Appartements Zermatt Paradies. The accommodations were great and really unique. That entrance tunnel was unlike anything I've seen, and we enjoyed walking through it each time we came and went. Our host Herr Biner made sure we had an outstanding stay. We look forward to coming back to Zermatt and staying here again!
