We were a large group with a baby, and the Dent Blanche apartment on the top floor at BaseCamp worked really well for us. It was comfortable and more cost effective than a hotel. The balcony view of the Matterhorn was incredible, we kept taking pictures, and the apartment was finished to a high standard. It was spacious and fully furnished, with a stocked kitchen, fireplace, sofa bed, baby crib, two bathrooms and a ski room downstairs. The team were very helpful. We could use the hotel's sauna and laundry service, and they brought the clean clothes back to our apartment. The bread delivery was handy too. Getting to the Sunnega funicular was easy, though once its elevator closes for the night, the walk back from the village center is about ten minutes uphill.

With space for eight, this place is great for a group: you get essentially the whole floor, two full bathrooms, and one small kitchen and one large one. The apartments are spacious, the balcony views are lovely, and the price is good for what you get. Zermatt isn't a big city, so everything is within about a 10 minute walk.

The balcony had a magnificent view of the Matterhorn, and the apartment was clean, with plenty of towels and well-stocked amenities. Getting there is the drawback: it's quite a long uphill walk. Without a cab, expect to carry your suitcases up several steep slopes.

The balcony view was outstanding, and the apartment was clean and beautifully furnished. Probably the nicest self-catering place I've stayed in on holiday. It's amazing, and I'll definitely book again.

A spacious, lovely chalet with a cosy lounge and a well-equipped kitchen. The views over Zermatt and the Matterhorn are amazing. Would highly recommend.
