This place was dangerous, deceptive, and completely unacceptable. I would give it zero stars if I could. It felt like a construction site and a physical endurance test, and the advertised Matterhorn view was a complete lie. A massive tower crane blocked the mountain entirely, so I couldn't get a single decent photo. There's no elevator, even though our room was on the third floor. Carrying heavy luggage up was brutal, and this is unacceptable and inaccessible for elderly or disabled guests, or even normally fit travelers. The access road was extremely steep and uneven, crossed cogwheel railway tracks twice, even by taxi, and was a nightmare with large suitcases. I felt trapped. Tourists shouldn't have to use this road for accommodation. There was no housekeeping for two nights, insulting at the price charged. If you want to supervise a construction site or train as a strongman, this is the place. Anything above zero stars feels like a lie. The stay felt like deliberate fraud. Stay near the train station instead. You can get a much better Matterhorn view from the mountain or by walking around town. Don't fall for this trap. I demand a full refund and urge the platform to remove this unsafe, misleading property, a disgrace to Zermatt tourism.
