We’ve stayed at Chalet Hinter dem Rot Stei twice now, and hope to be back for a third visit next year. The kitchen is very well equipped, food delivery made self-catering easy and fun, and having a boot heater meant a good start to each ski day. The hot tub, sauna, and log fire made the chalet feel special, and the nighttime view over Zermatt added to that. It’s beside the ski slope but tucked away enough to feel private, a peaceful spot for skiing. We can’t think of anything that needs improving.

The chalet is up in the mountains, but getting to Zermatt is easy, so we could enjoy the area, the views, hikes, and mountain activities. It’s private, well equipped, and well located. Suzanne was an amazing host, and her hospitality made our stay fantastic. We definitely recommend it and will return. Thanks, Suzanne.

We had a wonderful winter stay in this comfortable, well equipped chalet in Furi. It’s brilliantly placed for the ski slopes and winter walks, and I can see it being just as good for a summer holiday.

We spent a week here in summer and enjoyed every day. The chalet is tucked away for full privacy, with only its roof visible in the picture, and has a sauna and whirlpool. It was clean and well equipped, right down to the sharp knives. Pickup at the station and the rest of the stay all went as expected, and more. You can take the cable car to Zermatt or walk for about 30 minutes.
