Seeing the Matterhorn right in front of the hotel as we stepped outside was the dream come true part of the stay. Hotel Parnass has a perfect location, with a very easy, flat five-minute walk from the Zermatt train station, so arriving with luggage was stress-free. The reception staff were professional and incredibly welcoming. They took time to orient us to Zermatt and gave us detailed advice on the best viewpoints and attractions, which helped us make the most of our time in the mountains.

Mar was fantastic, friendly, attentive and always ready to help. Service throughout our stay at Hotel Parnass was excellent, and every staff member was warm and pleasant to deal with. The hotel is a lovely gem in Zermatt, with a stunning Matterhorn view and a peaceful charm from its spot by the canal. It made a comfortable, scenic base for exploring. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Zermatt. This is entirely based on my own experience. I have no personal or financial interest in the venue and no conflict of interest, just sincere appreciation for a beautiful evening. Highly recommended!

We had a decent stay, but I wish the hotel had mentioned the Swiss rail pass. It gives 50% off travel around the area and the major lifts, information that would have been really useful while we were there. They didn't mention it, and I only learned about it at our next hotel, by which point I'd already wasted hundreds of dollars.

I love this little hotel. The views are fantastic, breakfast is delicious, and the place is clean and nice. The family who runs it is delightful, and I love seeing the same people every year. I stay here every year for ski holidays, and it's in a perfect location. I just love it.

We spent a full ski week at Hotel Parnass and were impressed from the moment we arrived by how welcoming and helpful the whole team was. Reception, waiters and housekeeping were all consistently kind, efficient and attentive. The rooms were spacious, very comfortable and impeccably clean. The location is hard to beat, right in the town centre, with the ski bus stopping right outside or just a short walk away. For a 3-star hotel, it feels well above its category, with excellent value for money. We'd happily return.
