Legendär Zermatt

We stayed in flat Nr.1. It was large, though being right above the play room made it noisy at times, and the heating made annoying sounds. The stay was otherwise nice, but the train schedule is a real problem: trains stop at this station only rarely, about every two hours. You can't ski down to the house, so you need to plan your day carefully or walk up a fairly steep route in ski boots.

It's a great place, but getting there is quite a hike. If you're fit and travelling with a backpack, it's fine. Not a good choice for a 50-year-old Karen carrying 80 pounds of luggage.

Legandaer was adequate, but the price and advertising had left us expecting much more. Getting to the site is extremely limited and challenging. I'd avoid it unless everyone in your group is agile and spritely, or the very limited, expensive train timetable works for you.

You're basically paying for the balcony view. The receptionist and staff seemed very rude, and there were no toiletries in the bathroom, so bring your own. The place isn't wheelchair accessible at all.
