We loved our stay at Hotel Walliserhof. The spa was great, and breakfast was amazing. Our room was roomy and really comfortable, with a skylight where we could watch the stars while lying in bed. Great staff and a great location too. We’ll stay here again.

The staff were really lovely and friendly, and this was a cosy, quaint little find. The food was nice too, though the halloumi in my burger was soft and squishy, not like Greek halloumi.

The views are stunning, and the hotel is in a perfect spot, just a few minutes on foot from the train station. Everything was really clean, and the place is very well looked after.

The reception lady and the waitresses were nice, but one man in the restaurant made this a really unpleasant experience. My family and I brought instant noodles to save on food while skiing in Zermatt. The rooms don’t have kettles, so on our first night I asked downstairs where we could get hot water and was told to go to the restaurant. The waitresses were kind that night. On the second night, I asked “the man” for hot water. Other reviews have mentioned his poor hospitality too. He rudely and impatiently told me I wasn’t allowed to cook food upstairs. I said okay, then asked if I could at least make tea. He ignored me and threatened to charge 200 euros. That restaurant is so overpriced and shitty that eating there would probably still have cost less. Excuse me?

Great location and views, but the rooms smell like fondue. We also found hair in our food at both the downstairs restaurant and breakfast.
