The included breakfast had flies everywhere, and food options were poor. The top floor was oven-hot in mid-July with no A/C, so it was a terrible place to sleep, especially while jet lagged. Of the 15+ hotels I stayed at this summer, this was easily the worst. We paid $75 per person per night, $225 for a room for three, and management seems to be in kahoots with SportsZentrum. It’s a 26-30 minute walk each way, nowhere near a short stroll. The receptionists were very nice, but they also worked in the kitchen and served restaurant guests, so they were often away from the desk and didn’t speak English well. If you’re going to SportsZentrum, you’d be better off in Solothurn near a #4 bus line. Poor value, not walkable, and not somewhere to get good sleep.

It’s a small family hotel with free parking, and the location is good. The old town of Solothurn is about a 20-minute walk away.

The hotel workers were nice, but the bathroom was so small you could barely turn around 🤦. It was also pretty hot at this time, and there’s no air conditioning.

Solothurn is close by, and breakfast was very good. The hotel isn’t modern and the rooms feel a bit dated, but it was clean and reasonably priced. Suggested.
