The peaceful setting and the food were both amazing. The staff are kind, friendly, and helpful, and do what they can for you. This is my favourite place I’ve ever stayed. I’d recommend it to anyone. Thanks to all the staff!

We were only stopping to admire the cars parked outside the restaurant, which my boyfriend really likes, when Mrs. Elisabete came over and spoke to us in a very unpleasant way. We’ve visited regularly and always enjoyed the place, but being treated so badly over something so harmless has put me off coming back. We were just looking at the car. A little basic respect shouldn’t be too much to ask.

The local team makes it easy to fish for trout and barbecue them right there. You don’t have to bring any gear or food: fishing equipment, plates, cutlery, sauces, and side dishes are all provided. Probably the best spot in Switzerland for catching and grilling trout.

We’d driven almost 2 hours for the fishing, without realizing it was only available at certain times. Nicolas was so kind and cooperative, and let us try under his supervision. He did everything he could to make the experience possible and as lovely as we’d hoped, maybe even better. He’s a real gem. Anyone going to Interlaken should try this.

A lovely spot for dessert on a quick stop, or for a great lunch or dinner. The trout from the nearby lake seems to be very good, and it’s also a nice boutique hotel.
